Hi, I’m Danielle, the heart and lens behind Soft Soul Creative.

Health, wellness, and creativity have been the threads weaving through my life for as long as I can remember. Fifteen years ago, I began resistance training, which led me to a half marathon, weightlifting competitions, and then CrossFit - a journey of strength, resilience, and learning what my body is capable of. More recently, I’ve turned inward, embracing a personal healing path with a holistic and spiritual approach, exploring alternative therapies such as breathwork, meditation, yoga, and Reiki.

Photography has been another lifelong companion. I studied fine art photography at university, and fell in love with film photography and darkroom developing - the tactile, meditative process of creating something magical from light and shadow. For the past twelve years, I’ve captured many love stories at weddings, moments of deep connection and emotion, celebrating the magic in life’s fleeting moments.

I’m endlessly inspired by life’s little glimmers - a sunset painting the sky, the ocean’s rhythm, the glint of morning dew on the grass, the moon rising. I love travel and adventure, nourishing my body with good food, feeling the thrill of new experiences, and letting my soul wander near water and in nature. I’m a lover of poetry, art, and the creative process in all its forms.

Now, I’m following a path that feels even more aligned with who I am and where I’m meant to go. Soft Soul Creative is about capturing the essence, energy, and story behind soulful brands - helping heart-centered creators and wellness practitioners share their vision through imagery that feels authentic and alive.

I combine my love for health, adventure, and holistic living with my visual storytelling - creating imagery that isn’t just seen, but felt. My work is about capturing energy, intention, and the soul behind your brand, translating it into images that speak to your audience with authenticity and heart.
